It's the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead...and that's before things really get ugly. It's a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis. It's a place where the right kind of person with the right kind of weaponry can really make a name for themselves, and make more than an enemy or two along the way.
As you battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon drenched Vegas Strip, you'll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, power-hungry factions, special weapons, mutated creatures and much more. Choose sides in the upcoming war or declare "winner takes all" and crown yourself the King of New Vegas in this follow-up to the 2008 videogame of the year, Fallout 3.

Fallout New Vegas
If you loved Fallout 3, then you will definitely like New Vegas, you just may not love it. It's hard to say this game has any faults of any kind (besides the obvious glitches, more on that later). If this game had come out without Fallout 3 first being released I'm sure everyone, and myself included, would be giving this game 5 stars. It didn't though, so it loses some points because it isn't fresh enough. Sure you don't want to change the game up too much because the last game was near perfect for what they were going for, and too much change could turn away a lot of fans. It just felt though like they were afraid to try anything really that different, so at times that game feels a little... stale. In the end if feels like a Fallout 3 expansion rather than a new game. Plus the graphics look a tad dated now, but that's a really minor complaint. Oh and I was disappointing at the size of The Strip, I was really hoping it would be bigger, with more buildings, lights, etc. So now the glitches. The biggest problem I've had is the game will freeze up when go into/out of buildings or fast traveling. So you have to hope you saved recently or the last autosaved worked. There have been a few times though where my last save AND autosave won't load after I restart the game. So that can be annoying. The other minor glitches I've had are enemies floating or getting stuck half way in the ground, and random problems with companions getting stuck. All in all the game is great and it's worth playing, whether you are new to the Fallout series or not. Just don't expect it to be as good or better than Fallout 3.

Flesh-Hack
An excellent choice!
This game delivers much the same as the previous, excellent combat, many locations, a slightly less dull environment. Playing it through I have found several issues but most of the time it just adds to the magic in terms of funny bugs. Performance seems to be the biggest problem when in large rooms the game has trouble and starts to lag, that is why it didn't get the fifth star. All in all well worth the time to play it through many times over.
