Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition PC

A good game to play with friends. Got to get used 2 the graphics though.

Borderlands is a great game and a lot of fun. On the first glance many will say that it looks boring or out of date (like me before a friend bought it for me and I played it); you really have to try it out at a friends or just buy it and hope for the best, so that you can see, that it is a cool game. Borderlands is a co-op campaign shooter (play it with up to 3 friends !) with a Diablo-like loot system (fun for collectors). The GOTY edition comes with all 4 DLCs. Those feature 3 additional chapters (2 chapters continue after the ending of the campaign, 1 is a zombie island adventure (fun)) and an arena.

This game is amazing a must buy. If you like FPS then this is the one for you!

Thrilling shoot!

The game of the year is a fantastic piece of breath taking hardcore game. I found both the graphics, multi-player, landscape and texture more detailed than ever. This game is seriously is a faced paced beauty for the action shooter. It has many choices of weaponry ranging for snipers to contact grenades, including the vehicles. At the beginning it gives the option to choose 4 different characters, which have different skill set that you can develop, for example the invisible sexy siren. This is a fabulous game, however i would only rate this four because i believe it can be slightly better in terms of character can do in the game, don't get me wrong but i want than a character who can just run, jump and shoot. Overall this game is like Crysis 4 combined with far cry 2. I would recommend playing this game on full settings, otherwise you wont feel its true experience.

Incredibly good fun, till It all runs out suddenly.

I gave this game 5 stars, solely based on how much fun I had while it was fun. Every game runs it's course, and I decided not to penalise Borderlands because I had so much fun on it. The game isn't perfect, but it's a good laugh, especially if you can find a bunch of friends to play it with you. I started off on my own, the intro made me laugh from the start, the underlying humour in Borderlands is great, claptrap is a good laugh, the graphics are actually surprisingly nice. I had my doubts, but was surprised when I actually saw how smooth and, well fitting the style is. You get to pick out of 4 characters (classes), a Sniper (Ranged Dps), Soldier (Ranged DPS, with Turret pets), Siren (Rogue like stealthy DPS class with some ranged abilities) and a Berserker, which basically is a tank. I personally played as a soldier, carrying an assault rifle. The start of the game puts you into the action within the first few minutes, with cars buzzing over your heads and causing mayhem, if you've seen the film Book of Eli then you will feel at home. The game play is a fast past, first person shooter/role playing game experience. You gain exp, you level up and get new skills, but you also have a gun and ammunition. Don't get me wrong, this game IS NOT FALLOUT. In my opinion it is better than fallout. A lot less deep, but more fun, and Co-op! As I said before, with a friend this game becomes a lot more fun. You'll be bashing heads, and getting amazing loot together. The looting system is similar to that of World of Warcraft. (White - Common, Green - Uncommon, Blue - Rare, Purple - Epic) and even higher. As an Avid WoW player this added a lot to the game, I enjoy loot hunting, and Borderlands has a lot of randomly generated weapons which mean even on the 1000th play through, that chest would rarely, if ever contain the same weapon twice. In short, the game is fun, I've said that too much already I can feel it. Fun, nice graphically, even more fun with a mate, or three. Buy this for any, overnight LAN, you won't be dissapointed. I played a lot single player aswell as multiplayer, as you can drop in drop out a friend in your storyline, and I'd recommend this for single player if you are lacking a friend to play with
