Catwoman announced as playable character:
As Catwoman, players will have a chance to indulge in their darker side and explore Arkham City as the infamous feline femme fatale. Complete with her own storyline in the main game, Catwoman’s adventure complements Batman’s central role and is seamlessly interwoven with his main story arc. She will also be playable in the challenge maps with her own unique combat moves, gadgetry and signature 'takedowns'.

Batman: Arkham City is excellent! A new super prison has been built to contain some of Gotham City's most violent thugs and super villains. In Batman Arkham City you will play as Batman and Catwoman. This is a thrilling game where you must take on the likes of a highly intelligent super villain who will push Batman to his limits. The streets of Gotham are dark and gloomy which helps Batman to glide from roof top to roof top, and enable Catwoman to pounce on her enemies. Graphically it is not so different from the first Batman which is not a bad thing; I experienced no slow down on ultra settings. What made the game so enjoyable to me were the funny remarks made by the super villains, especially the Joker. There are many twists in this game which caught me by surprise. The main story took me 20 hours on average to complete but there are many more hours of game play due to side missions. Fantastic game, and highly recommended. 5 stars.
Quite frankly, Batman: Arkham City is amazing. I never really played Arkham Asylum, but after playing a demo of this I went out and got it, the combat is fantastic and flows so well. The graphics are stunning and so is the voice acting and story. You simply cannot miss this game, it's one of the best games of 2011!
Well worth the money
Batman is a atmospheric, fascinating world rich with details and secrets. The combat is very satisfying and varied. Free roaming through the reasonably large city is awesome. The side quests are worth playing. Graphics wise it looks good be it in dx9 or dx11. Directx11 looks much better but really isn't playable with a single card solution, even if you own a high-end card. Dx9 isn't all that much demanding for you pc actually, if you could play arkham asylum on highest, then this game shouldn't be a problem for you. Personally i prefer to play these kind of games with a controller, giving me the console feeling with superior graphics. Alot of worth for your money considering this game lasts 20 to 30 hours, depending if the additional content can satisfy you. I give this game 4 stars considering they didn't manage to have the dx11 fully playable.
I had big expectations of this game, and it was still good enough to surprise me (positively). The story, written by some of the Batman graphic novels writers, is much longer than expected, and there's a lot of replay value and alternative missions and achievements. The game is well balanced, with right learning and difficulty curves. The controls can be a bit awkward in the PC, though they're intuitive and easy most of the time. A highly recommended game, and in my opinion, a serious candidate as a GOTY.
Batman Arkham City for PC
This game improves on the the original Arkham Asylum in just about every way. Although the PC version was delayed for over a month it was certainly worth the wait. For those of you who don't have the latest graphics cards I can tell you that even on an old Radeon HD4850 an AMD tricore Athlon 3GHz CPU and 4Gb RAM this game is more than playable when running in basic Direct X 9 mode. The level of detail that has gone into Arkham city is immense, batman fans will love the sheer volume of batman lore that has gone into the game. If you enjoyed the first game buy this now, if you haven't, then get it now and then buy this. Rocksteady Studios have given us the ultimate batman game, if you love batman then you owe it to yourself to play this.

i would recomend this game to anyone, i bought this and i thought it was the best game i have every played. it was alot better than the first game that was made, there is a new story to get your teeth into and you can see how the story continues
