    INteresting

Batman: Arkham Asylum packs some great graphics and a good storyline into an impressive game. Some of the best features are the character animation, and the way you can take down opponents. The graphics are crisp and almost movie-like. The story is catchy and has a good plot.

    Impressive

This game has an interesting storyline, without being too linear. Events can be done in chosen orders, and in a multitude of ways. The graphics are very good for a 2009 game, and the combat is very fun, with combos making for awesome looking slow motion take downs. There are also fighting options using stealth and the wings. There is a free running aspect which functions in a very similar way to the Assassins Creed series, and a grappling gun, similar in use to the one in Just Cause 2. The only downside is that this is not a sandbox game, but it doesn't claim to be.

The dark knight returns in his best adventure yet

Batman: Arkham Asylum, one of the best games of 2009. The game begins as Batman escorts the guard as they take Joker, the notorious criminal, to his cell in the Arkham Asylum. But on the way Joker manages to break free and gain control over the prison. It's your task to take down this mad man once and for all. The game plays really smoothly in a third-person perspective as you progress through the Asylum. You get to fight all the bad guys from the comics. But still you don't have to beat all of them as stealth aspect of the game is also great. Also Batman has some very cool upgrades and gadgets. If you are a Batman fan this game is a must buy, if not go buy the game - it's still great fun.
