Description

When an evil darkness enshrouds the land of Hyrule, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero - and the animal - within. Link, a young man raised as a wrangler in a small, rural village, is ordered by the mayor to attend the Hyrule Summit. He sets off, oblivious to the dark fate that has descended upon the kingdom. When he enters the Twilight Realm that has covered Hyrule, he transforms into a wolf and is captured. A mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free. With the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows. Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness. As he does, he'll have to enlist the aid of friendly folk, solve puzzles and battle his way through dangerous dungeons. In the Twilight Realm, he'll have to use his wolf abilities and Midna's magic to bring light to the land. Besides his trusty sword and shield, Link will use his bow and arrows, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other items, both new and old. Players can use the Wii Remote as a fishing pole, while a spin of the Nunchuk controller executes a spin attack.

Fantastic

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is as near to perfection as a Wii game can get. The storyline was fantastic, and expanded throughout the game play. The appearance of the regular series villain was also good to see. The art direction was a nice choice on the part of Nintendo, giving fans the more cinematic approach they really wanted. The only downside to that was that being a Wii game, it did not have HD capabilities, meaning jagged edges and blurriness. The only fault the game has is being too easy. Apart from that, the level designs are excellent and the bosses are fun. I had a jolly good time playing it!

A great addition to the Legend of Zelda collection

This game is designed like a 3rd person shooter. The camera follows you. The world is beautifully designed. Almost everything can be interacted with. The best part though is the story itself. One of the best Zelda games yet.

Good game, bad conversion

This is a port from the last Zelda of GameCube. If you can get the GameCube version get it, if you can get the NTCS version, get it, but if you have no options... buy this version. In the Wii version all the game is "inverted" in order to control it with the wiipad in the right hand (in the original version link is left-handed). And for the PAL conversion we haven't real progressive scan so our "480p" is actually a 480i blurred version (you can see comparisons on the internet). So, the game is good, the conversion is bad.

Twilight Princess

When I first heard of this game, I thought it was something along the lines of My Little Pony, Dora the Explorer and Barbie. Who would have thought it would bring back childhood memories that were long forgotten. Similar to the game play of the old Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess adds things, which make it different, but still similar to the old time games.

One of the greatest Zelda games you can possibly own next to the Ocarina of Time. It was also available on the Nintendo Gamecube, but then it was imported and remade the graphics on the Nintendo Wii. Fantastic gameplay and a real adventure along with great graphics and solving puzzles along the way.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Twilight Princess makes a great addition to the Zelda series. It has very beautiful graphics, decent sound, and a great story-line. It's a massive game, and requires more than 40 hours to complete, but it retains it's top-end game play as usual. Overall, it's a great buy. Do not hesitate. Get this game, and enter the magical world of "The Legend Of Zelda".

A classic!

This game is a classic... as all classics is still actual and fresh after 5 years! my children (9 and 5) are never tired of playing and even just watching Twilight Princess... In conclusion, it's a must have (and a good appetizer for the new fantastic Zelda)

Beautiful Game in Nintendo Selects series

The first Legend of Zelda title released on Wii now in Nintendo Select series. The most important thing is that the only thing that has changed is the cover. Nothing in the game itself is different than before. It is the same good-old Zelda released in 2006. But is it a bad thing? In my opinion - no. Firstly, getting an older version (new&sealed) was very hard and the price was also pretty high. Now we can get a ''new'' Zelda title with a reasonable price. Most important thing about Twilight Princess is that this is one of this games that never ages. I won't say anything about the story itself because I don't want to spoil the fun of uncovering its aspects on your own (of course as in all official Legend of Zelda titles: there is Link our main hero and Princess Zelda..). Of course – there are many other titles with better graphics (even on Wii). Not to mention – when it was first published there were games like Resident Evil 4 on NGC that had superior graphics (when textures and polygons are the most important thing to you). On the other side – what you are seeing on the screen is just beautiful. Maybe it does not have billions of polygons and 8x anti-aliasing but in ''artistic sense'' this game looks great. If you played Shadow of Colossus or Ico on Playstation 2 you know what I mean. Outstanding views, beautiful scenery (forests, mountains, architecturally advanced castles...). Music is another thing which should be mentioned. If you loved previous game sounds and music – you will probably be happy to hear recognizable sounds. Although as far as I know – all game music is in midi just like in ''SNES era''. That isn't really bad but in my opinion game would be even better with few symphonic tracks. Twilight Princess is more similar to Ocarina of Time than to Wind Waker – at least I see it that way. Maybe because of graphic style or that its story is a bit darker (than again – Wind Waker had an mature story but maybe this ''cartoonish'' style was the reason of seeing it as a nice fable...?). To sum up, I think that everybody who didn't have an opportunity to play this game and has Wii should play The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. If I had to evaluate this little masterpiece, I would give 10/10. Even that this game is almost 5 years old.
