Little King’s Story begins with the tale of young boy named Corobo. Shy and without many friends, Corobo stumbles upon a mysterious, powerful crown while walking in the forest near his village. He soon discovers that the crown grants him the ability to charm any person and make them follow his orders. Suddenly, Howzer, the bull-knight appears informing Corobo that he is now King of the village and that he must not take this responsibility lightly. Returning to his sleepy village as a King instead of a shy little boy, Corobo begins a quest to turn his small hamlet into a noble, fantastic kingdom.

Whilst wandering through his local forest, Corobo, a shy young boy from a small country village, stumbles across a mysterious crown. Returning to his village, Corobo quickly finds out that this crown grants him the power to control local villagers, who quickly make him king. With this new responsibility now on his shoulders, Corobo sets himself the task of transforming his small town into a bustling metropolis.

Embracing its Japanese roots, Little King’s story has been created by some of the most renowned and respected developers working today, including key members from teams who created Harvest Moon, Final Fantasy XII and Dragon Quest VIII. Many elements from these titles make their way into Little King’s Story, blending real-time strategy with more relaxed social simulation as players command their townsfolk to dig for treasure and construct new buildings.

With a quaint Japanese storyline and colourful visuals, Little King’s Story manages to take the usually demanding aspects of strategy and simulation titles and create an adventure that’s far more accessible.
