In the spirit of Jamie Oliver’s books and TV shows, the creative cooking mode encourages players to get stuck in using hundreds of hand-picked ingredients to create their own dishes Up to 100 of your own unique recipes can be saved on the Nintendo DS to be recreated in the kitchen later and shared with friends and family using the Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection.

The cooking games offer fun for everyone with a series of recipe challenges using the stylus to chop, stir and serve in a variety of virtual real-time 3D kitchen settings. "I really want to get as many people as I can cooking simple, tasty food, so I’m really excited about bringing a book’s worth of my recipes to a game for the first time," said Jamie Oliver. "You can cook my recipes for real at home or in the game’s 3D kitchens, but what’s brilliant is that you can come up with your own recipes then share them with your mates and family over wi-fi. Lovely."

Players can carry a cookbook wherever they go in this interactive cooking aid staring chef guru Jamie Oliver.

This handheld cookbook for the Nintendo DS has 100 original recipes put together by Jamie Oliver himself, all of which feature photography by David Loftus, continuing Jamie’s trend of colourful and exciting images his cookbooks are known for. Voice recognition has also been included, so when budding chefs are ready to move onto the next part of a recipe they can simply speak into the DS, leaving their hand free to continue cooking. These recipes can be followed in ten 3D kitchens, each with its own unique layout and style.

Once these varied selections of recipes have been mastered, cooks can work against the clock in a series of challenges that will test precision and skill in strict time limits. Using the built-in shopping list, this DS title can accompany players to the supermarket during a shopping trip, organising items by food type.

Jamie Oliver’s goal to get everyone into the kitchen has expanded once more in this cooking title that gives aspiring chefs the freedom to follow Jamie’s advice as they cook.

    Good Little Present

Bought this more for my daughter and myself as we both love to cook, the recipes are great, lots of choice and the shopping list is really great. Love the fact that you can use voice activation to move onto the next step of the recipe. All really clear and easy to use. The games are good fun too although I did need my daughter to explain how to do it! Think that's just an age issue compared to a problem with the game! Good value for money.
