Can't fault the new style Xbox 360. It's got a small footprint, is pretty much silent and it's matte black finish means that it sits alongside the DVD recorder and TV without blatantly advertising the fact it's their. I'm normally reluctant to get hardware with touch buttons on, but the ones on the front of the Xbox are really responsive and don't give the impression of being likely to fail any time soon. The Console comes with a composite A/V wire with a SCART adapter. I would recommend purchasing a HDMI cable if your TV supports HD or a VGA cable if your TV supports that, the quality improvement is remarkable and also means that you can watch HD programmes on BBC iPlayer if you have a fast enough connection.
