Shinobi is a great game.
Great game!
Must have game for any shinobi / 16-bit generation fan. The game is hard but it's not frustratingly hard, instead it will keep you hooked. If you miss the the 90's action games this game is for you.

If you a fan of a 2D platform then Shinobi is your game. The game will keep you busy because even in the most easy mode as the game is hard as hell! But, after 2 or 3 days you will understand the logic of the game. It will still be hard, but much more fun.
Good game old style
Shinobi is a really great game, and this version for 3DS is very closer to the nes version! I love it and if you like an old style game with long and very hard levels.. I really recommend it to you!

retro heaven
I was really swaying whether or not to get this but once I did... oh boy I was so glad! Really nice gameplay and this game is so challenging, definitely a long haul here life span wise with all the unlockables and different modes you can choose from. Anyone who is into retro gaming like me, this is a must buy. Just stick with it and it really pays dividends. The graphics and artwork for me are really nice. GET IT!

Apart from the storyline, the gameplay itself is amazing with a variety of combos to learn and master, various ways to defeat enemies and epic boss battles. Even if you finish the game there is great Replay value as there are many hidden secrets within the game to find and achievements to accomplish and unlock. The various levels of difficulty also add to the challenge of the game, truly testing your skills. A great game that was worth the buy.

Good but hard
Shinobi for the 3DS is a good game but it's for the retro-hardcore fans. It's not for kids or people who just bought the 3DS as a first console. The game is quite hard and frustrating if you don't have good gaming skills. Graphics are OK, but they just try to imitate the feeling of old Shinobi games.
Hard Times for Casual-Gamers!
Shinobi for 3Ds should be a game that the people can misunderstand: it's got very good graphics and sound, but the core stand in its harder difficulty level. It's a high peak that you may not be able to climb! Give it a try, maybe you can find a good challange!

This game is for oldschooll gamers...Shinobi fans preferent....the dificult is high than others actually games. The 3d effect is good but no impresive..well, a good game for Shinobi fans. Good price, fast shipment...recommended :D Greats from spain

if you played as the Sega Mega Drive version is a must buy, great handling and great graphics challenging difficulty, overall a great game with very good price I recommend it
