Description
Bowser has once again kidnapped Princess Peach, but this time, Mario has another objective. The Mushroom Kingdom is bursting with more gold coins than before. Each level is littered with gold as coins rain down from overhead pipes, trails of coins are left behind special gold enemies and gold pipes transport Mario into coin-filled caverns. It’s up to players to collect as many coins as possible throughout their adventure.

Features:
- The game records all the coins players collect throughout the game, so completing a level is only part of the fun. Every level is filled with golden opportunities, such as gold rings that turn enemies into valuable gold versions and a Gold Flower that gives Mario the ability to turn almost anything in his path into coins.
- Coin Rush Mode allows players to collect as many coins as possible across three levels and challenge friends to beat their record via StreetPass.
- New Super Mario Bros. 2 is an all-new side-scrolling adventure game featuring Mario and Luigi. Two players who each own the game will have the option to play the entire game in two-player multiplayer mode using local wireless.
- The return of Raccoon Mario gives Mario the ability to fly and access hidden areas.
- Players will have the option to either purchase the game at retail stores or download the entire game through the Nintendo eShop.

After ordering this title, my kids were keen for it to arrive. It arrived on time, and it works very nicely. The game is superb.
Best Mario platform ever
I am a newcomer to Mario but I've previously played Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on the Gameboy Color. This looks and feels pretty much the same, but more can be done. There's collecting medallions but the basic point is to grab as many coins as you can. I haven't got as far as I would have like but too many games, not enough time. If you love Mario I'm sure you'll love this game.
Brilliant!
I recently downloaded this title using the Nintendo eShop and now, my sleeping pattern is ridiculously astray. The game somehow reminisces the legendary Super Mario Bros. series of the NES, and with the new features, such as the Coin Rush and the 1 Million Coins hunting, you can simply never put down your 3DS. Add up the 3D effect that makes the gameplay more enjoyable. This game is absolutely brilliant, totally worth the money, and most of all, a great way to continue the Mario Saga. Brilliant, just absolutely brilliant!
Truly spectacular
New Super Mario Bros 2 is a must buy. With tons of levels to explore and run through, each of them have a unique and new feel about them. Even better is the task of getting one million coins, which makes for great replay value. The multiplayer is fun and smooth, and the new coin rush mode is fantastic. More of the same, which is no bad thing for fans of Mario, and a classic which will be looked back at in years to come.
