With the success of the live-action film TRANSFORMERS, the robots in disguise proved that there was too much action for just one film. Bombastic action filmmaker Michael Bay reunites with original cast member Shia La Beouf and Megan Fox for this action-packed sequel. A dastardly new adversary in the shape of The Fallen steps in to avenge the destruction of Megatron and lead the evil Decepticons into battle against the heroic Autobots once more.

Thoroughly enjoyable trash
This is without doubt the silliest, most over-the-top movie I've seen in a while, but at the same time it was great fun. The special effects are faultless and while the plot is absolute hokum, the set pieces are orchestrated brilliantly. Although definitely too long, I'd say this is an improvement on the first one in every department.
