Impressions Galore!

I myself am still a reluctant fan of Steve Coogan, despite possibly being your biggest Alan Partridge fan. It is my opinion that most of Steve Coogan's work (A P excluded) has been mediocre at best. BUT... The Trip, alongside Rob Brydon, was a massive success. The simplicity of the show was to its credit. Imagine yourself playing yourself in a documentary reviewing gourmet food in Michelin star rated restaurants with a mate. Literally having a laugh and trying to out-impersonate a range of celebrities. The chemistry between the two (Partridge and Brydon) is often tense and perceived awkward but you can see that there witty humour gains respect and you begin to understand their relationship. This is such easy viewing with a real sense of originality. I could watch The Trip and be completely content. It shows how simple pleasures are what really matters in life. In addition, they throw in some 'laugh out loud' moments only the pairing could produce. I highly recommend this show. Add it to your comedy collection and feel that little bit more sophisticated! Cheapest price online too - thehut are rather impressive.
