Fantastic collection. Very impressive quality of packaging and extras make this trilogy box set feel very exclusive. The original theatrical releases are among my very favorite films, especially the Fellowship of the Ring and the Return of the King, but i had never got chance to watch the extended editions until I purchased this boxset. I have only currently watched part 1 of the Fellowship yet the added depth which the deleted scenes added greatly improve on the already brilliant original release. Therefore I would advise any LOTR fan to purchase this boxset.
To be frankly, this is my fifth purchase of LOTR Trilogy Extended. Everytime I bought this DVD, my friends were always asking whether I would like to sell this to them (this boxset is very rare in my country LOL). The package is very cool with classy looking box outside and cool digipak inside. With more than 30 (even almost 1 hour for the last one) minutes of extra scenes, you will not regret to buy this gem. Definitely must have, either you're LOTR fans or not
This is a must for Lord Of The Rings fans, the Extended versions show so much more and is not disjointed like the cut versions, or leave you wondering if you have missed anything, or how did that happen. Also being on 6 discs you can just watch one at a time and take more in. This is one to buy.
Brilliant value for a top class product!!!!!!!!!!
The extended edition trilogy is an absolute delight for any fantasy fan and heaven for a Lord Of The Rings enthusiast. Not only does the film contain footage cut from the original movie release and theatrical dvd version, but the extras discs offer a whole new perspective on the movies origins and all the work that went into this masterpiece of cinematic history. This box set should be an essential part of everyones collection.
Fellowship of the Ring; This movie has a slow start but soon picks up the tempo and grows into a battle for middle earth so to speak. The camera angles and locations are just superb and everything is just perfect. Two Towers; The second instalment to the franchise has an opening sequence of beautiful scenery with the opening credits, camera angles, battles and the make up of the Uruk Hai is so convincing it seems real. Return of the King; the third movie of the series is the best of them all. Many battles and the adventure in the film make it gripping and making you want to watch the film over and over again. Over all the movies are perfect for a family film as not too much gore, with added funny sections make the film perfect for all ages. Even if the genre is not your cup of tea, you'll be pleased that you watched it and will want to watch it all again.
What can you say about the best triology ever made by men! The cast is brilliant, the sittings are marvelous and dazling. The Hut did a great service also, great speed and good quality on delivery! congrats Malakin
