Shameless - Series 5 DVD

The multi-award winning Shameless is back on DVD ....with a bang - and a sizzle when Frank accidentally urinates on a generator, electrocuting his privates. In series five things turn from bad to worse when in hospital he's told he has a heart condition and doesn't have long to live. Meanwhile Lip returns home from University and is followed closely by his new girlfriend, much to Many's dismay. And he's not the only one with relationship issues: Ian very nearly finds love, Carl continues with his sex ploits and the quiet outsider, Debbie, surprises everyone by falling head over heels. The Gallagher family look set to grow when Monica falls pregnant; it's just as well they're keeping the numbers up seeing as Liam decides to run away.

Over at the Maguire's, Mimi attempts dieting to save her marriage, Paddy has a visit from a long lost family member, Micky faces bankruptcy when he sets up his own business, (we knew he shouldn't have taken a loan from his dad - not with those rates) and Shane and his new girlfriend are brought together by a cockroach.

This series sees the opening of a brothel, a dead body in The Jockey, a pink (or is that fuchsia) limo, an earthquake in Chatsworth and free egg and chips for everyone - except Frank who doesn't need it as he wins the lottery.
