When Nancy and her father Carson (Tate Donovan) move to Los Angeles, Nancy is determined to solve the mystery surronding the death of Dehlia Draycott, a movie star who had lived in their rented home.

The film also features Rachel Leigh Cook and a cameo from Bruce Willis.
