Jeeves and Wooster Complete Collection: what can I say? The picture quality after the digital remaster is brilliant. Now I am able to watch this classic series of a bygone era as and when I want to, and not have to trawl the sattelite channels on the off chance. Many Thanks.

It has not been possible for me to view ALL of the discs in this collection yet. However, the ones that I have seen are excellent in all respects. It is well-known that Fry and Laurie produced a first-class performance of Wodehouse's work better than, I think, that of Carmichael and Price of many years ago. A really good set of discs and highly recommended

A classic adaptation

Total :

This must go down as the most successful TV adaptation of Wodehouse's work to date. The first 3 series are all superb and Stephen Fry and Hugh Lawrie are as excellent as always. The fourth series is not quite up to the same standard but this is still highly recommended.

Good clean family entertainment. Brilliant characterization by Fry and Laurie. In an age where there is no innocence left and entertainment is peppered with dodgy double meanings and writers fall over themselves to be the next to push the envelope still further, it is refreshing to watch stories genuinely humorous without the blue baggage and sub-text. Yes the stories are outright silly, the manners and speech from a past age but the humour is genuine; I for one would welcome more in the same vain any day of the week!

This release of the excellent ITV classic TV program is the best yet. The picture quality seems much better than the previous version and most importantly, there is no longer an annoying anti-piracy advert which you are forced to sit through every episode unlike the last DVD boxset. Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are both fantastic is this series.
