    A centuries-old vampire cursed with a conscience, Angel (David Boreanaz) has left the small California town of Sunnydale and the only women he ever loved, Buffy, to take up residence in Los Angeles. Once there, he is immediately befriended by Doyle, a half-demon with visions. These visions, courtesy of The Powers That Be, alert Doyle when someone is in trouble. Angel also encounters another Sunnydale escapee, Cordelia Chase. Now, as the threesome join forces, perhaps the people in Doyle's visions will have a chance at survival - and Angel may have the chance to redeem himself and save his own soul.
