Description
Ajami is a town in Tell Aviv and is religiously mixed between Muslims and Christians. This movie tells five different stories which intelligently interweave and bring this religious conflict to a dramatic breaking point.
The story focuses on 13-year-old Nasri and his Brother who are living in constant fear as their Uncle’s violent behaviour towards a prominent clan member is beginning to backfire. Palestinian refugee Malek who is working illegally in Israel to pay for his mother’s life saving operation. Jewish policeman Dando, who is searching for his brother’s murderer and extremely wealthy Binj who is starting to plan his future with his Jewish girlfriend. (Matt Fairfield)
