It does the job

As a long term Norton user, I saw this Panda Internet Security DVD on special offer at TheHut and decided to give it a go. The interface is pleasant and the initial scan takes a while, but it does prevent viruses and phishing from what I've read, so I feel protected. I did have trouble setting up the 3 user-licence but TheHut was helpful (and quicker in response) to the program helpdesk. It does seem to slow the system down a little like any other antivirus program, and runs better on Windows 7 than Vista. There are some compatability issues with Windows firewall (again like other antivirus programs), so you should turn that off. Updating is easy and automatic in the background. I'd recommend it to first-time users and those on a budget.
