    The sixties were a decade of enormous musical diversity, but it wouldn't have swung nearly as much if it wasn't for the girl groups and singers who added some much needed sugar to the period. "Be My Baby" is a collection of 70 tracks over 3CD's that includes greats such as Aretha Franklin (I Say A Little Prayer ), The Supremes (You Can't Hurry Love), Carole King (It Might As Well Rain Until September), and Dusty Springfield (I Only Want To Be With You) .

    However room has also been found for the work of less well remembered groups like The Cookies (Chains) and The Toys (A Lover's Concerto). A truly comprehensive collection, this compilation album is a must have for any lover of sixties music and a great piece of nostalgia for those who enjoyed this golden age of music. (Adam Bibby)

    Be My Baby

    Be My Baby is a great album. It is very easy listening and good to sing along to. Highly recommended.

    Its Good

    I wondered how long it would be before someone came up with women solo artistes and groups on a CD. It is one I have been waiting for. It helps complete my collection.
