    "Here I Stand" is the fifth studio album by American R&B star Usher. The album was inspired by Usher's love for his new family, which prompted him to create many ballads for the project. Whilst creating "Here I Stand", the death of Usher's father influenced certain themes on the album, and subsequently the title was made up to mark 'a new chapter in his life'.

    Singles from "Here I Stand" include the smash hit "Love In This Club" which features southern rapper Young Jeezy, the emotional "Moving Mountains", and "Love In This Club Part 2", with contributions from Beyonce and Lil Wayne.

    This album was under pressure to perform simply because of the outstanding success enjoyed by its predecessor "Confessions", and it is certainly a worthy post release that R&B fans will enjoy from beginning to end. (Trevor Pratt)
