"Stereo Typical" is the brilliant and eagerly anticipated debut album by the urban RandB styled London duo Rizzle Kicks, comprised of Jordan "Rizzle" Stevens and Harley "Sylvester" Alexander-Sule.
Their musical style is a deftly mastered combination of hip hop and pop, with Rizzle's slick rapping and Sylvester's soulful singing playing off and overlapping with each other to create their own original and innovative style of music.
Adding to their brilliant and individual vocals is a vast array of percussion and other musical components; the variety extending to the use of trumpets in their song, the lead single "Down With The Trumpets", which is included on the album. Also on the album is their earlier single "Prophet (Better Watch It)", as well as "When I Was A Youngster", a summery, catchy and energetic tune guaranteed to get you in a good mood and singing along.
Rizzle Kicks have also been featured in the brand new number one song "Heart Skips A Beat", by Olly Murs. (Cat Emerson)
