Since bursting onto the airwaves with 1977's "Bat Out of Hell" Meat Loaf has successfully carved out his own niche in the music industry selling over 70 million albums over the course of his career so far.
His twelfth studio album, produced by Paul Crook, "Hell In A Handbasket" could very well be his most heartfelt recording so far, featuring – as the title might suggest – his own musings on the current state of the world. This is something which tracks like "Fall From Grace" and "The Giving Tree" are clear examples of with Meat Loaf at his most candid and introspective. Further to this the album plays host to a number of collaborations with the likes of Chuck D (Mad Mad World), Lil Jon (Stand In the Storm) and Patti Russo (Our Love And Our Souls, California Dreamin').
