Blur's debut album "Leisure" originally came out in August 1991, and offers a fascinating insight into the band's early style before they became the critically acclaimed name behind albums like "Parklife" and "The Great Escape". In terms of sound, the album is noticeably distinctive when compared to their later releases, with a far greater focus put on dance friendly pop mixed together with alternative rock influences, most notably shoegazing. Highlights on the album include "Come Together", "Sing", and "Birthday". (Adam Bibby)
