    "Alfie" is the brilliant self-titled album by the incredible, professionally trained English tenor Alfie Boe. The album is a compilation of fifteen brand new recordings and several collaborations with other amazing singers, such as Robert Plant, Nick Jonas, Mel C, Matt Lucas, Michael Ball and Jason Manford.

    This release features Alfie Boe's brilliant renditions of classic operatic songs, such as "Maria" from West Side Story, as well as more modern songs, such as "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face". The contrast between all the different eras and styles of music on this album shows Boe's versatility, and also his talent to transform any song in to his own.

    Alfie Boe can take any song and turn it in to a masterpiece, his outstanding voice containing the ability to give the listener goosebumps at the sheer power and beauty of it. Never anything but incredible, this is "Alfie". Enjoy. (Cat Emerson)
