Born from the creative vision of filmmaker Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300), this epic action fantasy launches from the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Locked away against her will, Babydoll (Emily Browning) has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four fellow captives – outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung) and reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish) – to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorki (Carla Gugino) and the High Roller (Jon Hamm).

Sucker Punch packs a great punch. If you do not go in hoping it's realistic, you will enjoy a really good movie.
Great quality. Good idea. Plausible execution. Overall, a brilliant movie! I'd watch the sequel.
I've seen people talking of Sucker Punch like either one of the best or one of the worst films of the year. To be brief, let me say that the film is an excellent work of the director, something you've already seen in 300 and Watchmen, he really gets the atmosphere. The Soundtrack is excellent, most of the actors do a good job, and some of them are brilliant, like Oscar Isaac, who in my opinion is the best in the film. The trouble with this film in my opinion is the plot, and it is not a bad plot. But the thing is that the plot of the movie is good but short, and in the end it looks like it's used to introduce a lot of action that really makes no sense. However the action is great, it is really cool, but the problem is that it doesn't have anything to do with the story. It's just something you put between scenes. I would still recommend seeing it with the advice that you're not there for the story, but for the visuals.
