Rise of the Planet of the Apes is an absolutely brilliant film. One of my favourites.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) acts as an origin story for a new series of films based on the original series of five films (19681973). Although it departs from the continuity of the original series, it is none the less entertaining and received a well deserved nomination for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. This triple play version allows you to watch the film on Blu Ray, DVD and mobile devices.

Had high expectations about this film and boy was i NOT disappointed Special effects are fantastic and you can't help but get yourself submerged into the film. All in all a brilliant film.
A very enjoyable film and very well done. Entertaining movie like a blockbuster flick should be! The CGI effects are superb and really add to the films story. You don't need to have seen any of the other movies as this has its own take on the story rather than a sequel/prequel. Fab.
