    Product Review

    Release Date: 27 June 2011

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) reunite yet again for this action-packed adventure from Greg Mattola, the director of Superbad. Graeme (Simon Pegg) and Clive (Nick Frost) have been best friends since they were young children, and they have always shared the same dream; to travel across America and see the famous Area 51. Now the time has come and they have finally got enough money to make their dream come true.

While at Area 51 Graeme and Clive encounter the unimaginable; a real life Alien named Paul (Voiced by Seth Rogen). Paul comes in peace and all he asks of them is to drive him to his destination where he will be picked up and taken back to his planet. However, Paul is being chased by a ruthless government agent Zoil (Jason Bateman), who will stop at nothing to capture and kill Paul and whoever else is with him. Soon enough an all out chase begins and Clive and Graeme’s adventure turns out to be much more wild than they ever imagined. -M.F.

    Paul

This is a brilliant film. I think Pegg and Frost at their best. It is hilarious from start to finish and yet it still keeps you guessing until the end. You have to be able to handle swearing if you want to watch this film as there is quite a bit of it, but its all done in such a funny way. One of the best films of last year by a mile. I still laugh so hard when i watch it now.

    Top Film

Once again Simon Pegg and Nick Frost set forth to cause trouble. Long after the likes of Spaced and Shaun of the Dead they still work as a duo and play off each other very well. As you can imagine for a newish film the transfer here is near flawless.
