Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, Wedding Crashers) stars in this tense thriller from Director Neil Burger (The Illusionist) and co-starring Robert De Niro (Goodfellas, Taxi Driver).
Eddie Morra (Cooper) is a once professional, but now struggling, writer whose life has taken a turn for the worse. His lack of creativity has led him into a state of depression. He has a contract for a new book but the only problem is, he hasn't written a single word. To make matters worse, Eddie's long time girlfriend Lindy (Abbie Cornish) has just broke off their relationship.
When Eddie is offered a new and exciting drug yet to be on the market called NZT, his world is dramatically altered. He finishes his book within a day and all of a sudden he feels capable of anything. NZT opens his mind to many new and attractive opportunities and he soon attracts the attention of business mogul Carl Van Loon (De Niro).
However, as Eddie begins to feel more reliant on the drug he starts to question its safety and his life is soon put in danger when a group of ruthless hit-men become aware of the drug and will do anything to get a hold of it for themselves. - M.F.

Well, Limitless could have been written by Chuck Palahniuk: Original, cynical and with a great, partly brutal end. Bradley Cooper is great in his descendence to geniality and the plot is tense and full of highlights. The final scene gives nothing about moral conclusions and presents a wonderful consequence for the protagonist. It's a great Blu-Ray release of a remarkable thriller gem. Recommended.
