Strange but marvellous

District 9 is brilliant, the special effects are brilliant, and the action is mad! Strange story but it's a great change to have something different and creative like this

There's Something Out There...

I was unsure about this one when it came out but after being persuaded to go and see it I was pleasantly surprised. Although the 'Prawn' creatures are a little surreal the plot is good and the CGI is fantastic and it's safe to say we haven't really seen an 'Aliens come to earth' story like this one before, plus It's nice to see that there's potential for (if there is anything out there) extra terrestrial life and Humans to live together in harmony! Will certainly consider adding this to my Blu-ray collection later this year

A really enjoyable film, well acted too

This is a great film. It has a completely different feel to the normal 'big budget' American blockbuster, mainly because it isn't. The budget for the film was tiny but you'd never have guessed. It was very well acted, the plot was well thought out and the special effects were incredible given that the budget was so small.
