Cannot Wait.
I really can't wait for this, it was sooo good, watched it twice at the cinema, and the second time was so much better, you're less amazed by the frankly amazing graphics and concentrate more on the storyline which is A+ material.

I'm loving Avatar
Wow. Just the best film I've seen in ages. I only wish I had 3d at home! Crippled soldier Jack gets a new lease of life as a blue skinned alien and begins to prefer his alternate exitence over his real one. And why not, because his bird is seriously hot, even if she resembles an over-sized smurf. Plenty of action, dazzling special effects. Avatar on blu-ray will be just fantastic, I can't wait!

A visual treat
It took years for James Cameron to bring his vision to the movies, and, for the most part, it was well worth the wait. Whilst the plot of Avatar is nothing special (greedy humans exploiting another planet for its mineral wealth with locals getting in the way), the result is such a stunning cinema experience that the lack of cerebral engagement can be easily forgiven. In 3d on the big screen, the visuals have to be seen to be believed, so impressive are they. How it translates to 2d on the TV in your living room remains to be seen but the high definition blu-ray experience will help to enhance the experience. The alien planet, flora and fauna and people look superb and totally convincing. The special affects set a new (very high) standard for movies of this sort, and it will be a while before they are bettered. If, by some miracle, you missed this at the movies, get yourself the blu-ray edition of Avatar and settle down for a few hours of rewarding visual stimulation.
