Great film for special effects - storyline is not the most convincing but then again it is about the end of the world! Ideal for bluray though as it is an action packed movie, from seeing the streets of California collapse to witnessing christ the redeemer statue in Brazil crumble - it truly is a well made film. Without ruining the ending it does get a bit unbelievable but if you want a film that you can switch off and just appreciate great effects then this is for you!

BEST DISASTER MOVIE EVER!

2012 thrusts marvellous effects and terrific tale into one explosive disaster film. A great cast of actors also brings laughter and heart among the violence and death that goes on as the world comes to an end, a definite movie to watch with popcorn, and also an intense experience that is 2012.
