Bringing a different approach to style and design than those in Europe or the US, Australian brands have a unique take on fashion – and it’s all really refreshing.

Finders Keepers
The go-to label for playful prints, bright colours and structured, feminine pieces, Finders Keepers was founded in 2007 by Australian Fashion Label’s Creative Director Melanie Flintoft. This is the brand for the girl whose style is sophisticated yet effortless, and always on-trend, with celebrity fans including Nicole Sherzinger, Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian and Lily Collins. The new collection is appearing to be a hit too; Kendall Jenner was recently spotted wearing a denim shirt (get it here at The Hut) from Finders Keepers’ SS15 collection, opting to wear it with a pair of leather leggings and suede ankle boots. We love the open back – go for double denim and wear it with denim shorts to make it summer appropriate.

The Fifth
Another brand under the Australian Fashion Labels’ umbrella, The Fifth has become a favourite amongst fashion bloggers, despite only launching in 2014. Head designer Amy Hicks creates luxe every day essentials that are laid-back yet fashion-forward. We love how blogger Tasfia from Inside In, Inside Out goes for stripe-on-stripe with her top and skirt from The Fifth. Get the look with The Fifth Roadhouse Skirt and The Fifth Lonely Sea Top.
MINKPINK
MINKPINK exudes bohemian, vintage-inspired style, with a contemporary street-style edge. Founded in 2005, designer Rachel Evans creates clothing that is playful and flirty, with unique prints that will speak to any fashion lover. This is a brand that is made for long, lazy summer evenings and days on the beach; we love MINKPINK’s distinctive take on swimwear. LA blogger Anna from Fash Boulevard is just one of the fashion set to jump on the MINKPINK bandwagon; we love how she styles this floral playsuit (available here at The Hut), adding a bright yellow blazer and muted accessories to create a fun summer look.
